We appreciate your trust in us to provide handcrafted products for you and your dog. Our team is committed to delivering pieces made with care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Below you will find our full terms for payment, shipping, cancellations, returns, and warranty.
Payment Terms
- All sales within Texas are subject to applicable sales tax.
- An order is not considered binding until the balance has been paid in full.
- Full payment must be received before production begins and before shipment of any item.
Cancellation Terms
- We offer a 48-hour grace period after your order is placed to cancel for a full refund.
- Refunds for cancellations within this period may take 3–7 business days to process.
- After the 48-hour window, all sales are final and non-refundable.
Shipping Terms
- All funds must be received prior to shipping.
- Shipping is handled through third-party freight carriers.
- Typical delivery window after shipment is 6–10 business days, depending on the carrier.
- Customers will receive carrier information and tracking details once the item leaves our facility.
- Curbside delivery includes placement at your property but does not include unboxing or inside delivery.
Lead Times
- Our standard production lead time is 4–6 weeks.
- Lead times are estimates and may vary based on production schedules, material availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- We will communicate any significant delays with you directly.
Scope of Services
Due to the nature of working with solid hardwood and handcrafted methods:
- No two pieces are exactly identical.
- Final dimensions may vary by up to ±0.5".
- Natural wood characteristics such as knots, holes, cracks, grain patterns, and color variations are inherent and celebrated, not considered defects.
- Variations in color and stain absorption are natural and not grounds for return or refund.
- All products are designed for residential use only. Commercial use is prohibited and voids all warranties.
Warranty Terms
Dog & Crate warrants against manufacturing defects for 30 days from the date of delivery.
In the case of a defect, we will assess the situation and offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
Warranty does not cover issues arising from:
- Abuse, misuse, or damage (including dog chewing)
- Wood movement (expansion, contraction) due to climate changes
- Natural variations in wood appearance (knots, grain, color)
After delivery, proper maintenance is the sole responsibility of the purchaser
Returns & Refunds
- If you wish to return an item, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your shipment.
- All returns must be approved by Dog & Crate prior to shipping the item back.
- Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee (industry standard).
- Items must be returned in new, unused condition.
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds may take up to 14 business days to process.
- Dog & Crate reserves the right to decline a return or refund if the item is not returned in original condition.
