Who Is Dog & Crate?
We are a family-owned and operated business. We are located in New Braunfels Texas. We are a three person workshop headed up by Rachel & Lucas (owners), and Randy.
How Do I Order?
You have two ways to order. First, you can order right here on on the website! Second, you can email us your ideas or a pic of a crate you would like built. We will always contact you and discuss or confirm your design (size, options, finishes). If ordering a custom crate via email, we will send an invoice with payment options. Once payment is made, we will first digitally design the crate and send it to verify the size, options, and finish. Once we get approval, we start construction. At this point, we can not offer any refunds. Once the crate is complete we will contact you to discuss delivery or pick up options.
What is the Turn Around Time?
The current turn around time is 28-35 days.
What forms of payment do you take?
We offer CC, Zelle, Cash App, Paypal, and Venmo.
I’m Picking Up My Kennel From Your Shop, What Should I Bring?
If you’re within driving distance from our shop in New Braunfels, Texas, you are more than welcome to come pick up your kennel to save delivery costs.
It’s important to make sure your kennel will fit into your vehicle; for this reason, we feel pick-up trucks are best. A large SUV or Minivan will hold up to our Medium Double Dog Kennel. Many customers have found that renting 5x8 U haul trailer to be an inexpensive option for transporting their furniture if their vehicle won’t hold it.
You should bring: moving blankets, and rope or ratchet straps to secure your kennel for transport. We will be available to help load and secure your kennel.
What Are Your Kennels Made From?
Our dog crates are made from Natural Pine & Rebar.
All of our finishes are pet safe and durable for decades of use. If you ever need touch up paints or stains Contact us and we can help you.
What colors do you offer?
If using paint, We offer any current Sherman Williams colors. If you would like another brand of paint, we can likely match it without any problems.
What kind of finished do you use?
We use an oil-based stain with a water-based polyurethane finish to help your dog crate last a long time. We use Minwax products with many stains options to choose from.
Where do you deliver to?
Greater Austin, Greater San Antonio, New Braunfels,
Houston, Waco, or Dallas (please contact first to discuss)
-Delivery will be scheduled with a 2 hour time slot, must be home to receive.
How much is delivery cost?
Greater Austin - $200 (Depending on size of dog crate, we may ask for one person to help unload)
Greater San Antonio - $200 (Depending on size of dog crate, we may ask for one person to help unload)
Greater Houston, Waco - $300 (Depending on size of dog crate, we may ask for one person to help unload)
Dallas --Estimated $350 (Depending on size of dog crate, we may ask for one person to help unload)
Other - Please contact and ask prior to order.
Do you ship outside of Texas?
No, unfortunately we do not ship the crates.
What if my dog chews up my kennel?
We cannot be liable for chewed up kennels.
*We suggest spraying your kennel with a "no chew spray" such as bitter apple to help prevent your pups from chewing the wood.
Can I Order A Custom Size?
